To analyse the historic relationship between Craftsman and Artist, and to investigate the reasons of their current separation. To rebuild the basis of a dialogue between artists and craftsmen. Historical seminars, workshops, meetings, brainstorm laboratories to focus on the current and future perspectives of art and craft/Encouraging the Mutual knowledge of the participants and speaking about their artistic vision, showing their own abilities, interests, experiences, dreams, intentions. Each participant will then promote its own activity/experience while discovering artistic affinity with other participants. This mutual artistic knowledge process will be useful when, at the end of the project, the participants will be asked to collaborate to realise artworks, which will be shown during the itinerant exhibitions. Exchanging knowledge, ideas, techniques and methodologies in order to find a common innovative representation of the union between art and craft/The participants will start sharing ideas, drawings, sketchs, in order to realize the artworks.

Si apre con MADE! Materia Mano Macchina, la prima mostra dello spazio SAM. Una mostra che parte dalla materia fibra per arrivare alla tela/intreccio. Una mostra che darà la possibilità a visitatori di ogni età di scoprire e “toccare” le possibilità della materia. Un filo che diventa, gomitolo, matassa e che la mano dell’uomo, la sua creatività insieme all’utilizzo della macchina/telaio lo trasformeranno in una tela, il risultato dell’intreccio tra ordito e trama. La mostra è curata da Cristina Degl’Innocenti, curatore e ideatore dello Spazio SAM/Spazio Arti e Mestieri in collaborazione con Associazione Coordinamento Tessitori.
